Tiffany singh's presentation

This young talented artist amazed me with her encounters in the art world ! she works around colour for her art pieces and are all created by all natural ingredients , i really found that cool because its a piece of the world applied to her art . Her way of colour represents sacredness and a sense of culture where she show
ed us a series of her artpieces such as ''What color is the sacred'' this was a great project i thought stood out for me , it was of a whole lot of little statues of gods coated in six different colors and placed on the ground in lines going across in a rainbow affect. Tiffany chose to let the viewers interact with her work , she wanted them to trade anything of theres like maybe an item that has meaning or even something that was just found and in return you could pick a coloured statue of a god , sometimes she would recieve items that are precious to the owner because they react to her work in a more moving and spiritual way ! she was really surprised with the colours that people valued more and that most of the dark purple and dark red statues were taken . I liked that art piece beacause i would've picked either one of those two colour because i like those colors myself and that gets me thinking why do we like this color ? maybe because the color has a more sacred spiritual connection to the mind.

after her presentations are finished she recycles her natural ingredients and sorts them in color coded proportion. i really love how she still manages to have the energy to do that.

My actual favourite colour is green because i like to match with my eyes which are green ! green to me represents green stone , land , growth which all relates to my culture which i am proud of everyday of my life . green to me is a bright happy colour which i've heard can change moods just by looking at such a colour , i think its some kind of medatation because green is clear to me as if it were apart of me now because i'v always known that its my favourite color .

  1. Thanks Joey, Funny about the date since I've been checking your blog every week for weeks, and there wasn't anything there throughout the whole of October and yet it says it was posted on October 19! Good hacking skills! Still needed to do some further research though... like finding another artist who works with colour...
